So..they had a lovely time in this deserted cottage..in the middle of nowhere..at the foot of a mountain!
(Did they listen to Mama Scully when she tentatively remarked Wales and January might be a bit iffy? Did they buggery!)
Yesterday the snow fell.
Big time. They couldn't get out for food for dinner..they had peanut sandwiches.
They tried to leave today..big joke as Craig has a teeny weeny BMW sports car. The snow was nearly as high as the car!
A 4x4 tried to help them out..and got stuck!
A big lorry thing trundled past and helped the 4x4 get on it's way and the lorry driver very kindly helped Craig get his car out to get to the shops. Thank you that man.
Craig managed to get steak and potatoes for him and Lani's dinner.
They're now hoping that the snow melts and they can get to Birmingham..a day late.
Craig son...listen to your mum and don't be letting your girlfriend sucker you into mad trips to Wales in January again.
I hope they either get enough provisions, or can get a lift out of there
