Stuck in Wales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Postby Ally » 18 Jan 2013, 17:36

Craig and Leilani drove to Wales on Sunday for 5 days and then were going from there to Birmingham to spend the weekend with his dad and Angela (his wife.) :D

So..they had a lovely time in this deserted cottage..in the middle of nowhere..at the foot of a mountain!

(Did they listen to Mama Scully when she tentatively remarked Wales and January might be a bit iffy? Did they buggery!)

Yesterday the snow fell. :o Big time. :o

They couldn't get out for food for dinner..they had peanut sandwiches.

They tried to leave today..big joke as Craig has a teeny weeny BMW sports car. The snow was nearly as high as the car!

A 4x4 tried to help them out..and got stuck! :o

A big lorry thing trundled past and helped the 4x4 get on it's way and the lorry driver very kindly helped Craig get his car out to get to the shops. Thank you that man. :)

Craig managed to get steak and potatoes for him and Lani's dinner.

They're now hoping that the snow melts and they can get to Birmingham..a day late.

Craig son...listen to your mum and don't be letting your girlfriend sucker you into mad trips to Wales in January again.

I don't think it's going to melt this weekend Ally :? I hope they either get enough provisions, or can get a lift out of there

Where in Wales are they Ally? Did they not see or hear of any of the weather warnings that have been put around over the last few days?

Well I was thinking that myself, Wales have been on red alert for days. But then they are young and would I have taken any notice at that age? They must get some food sorted, how near is the nearest shop?
