We had chips tonight for convenience, but usually would have some pasta with a tomato sauce.

That's what I'd do....although I cheat and buy those packets of pasta that come with the sauce as a dry mix, and you add milk and water and a dab of butter to cook it - you can get them in several different flavours, we like the chicken and mushroom or chicken and garlic best And maybe serve them with peas or green beans.

Jen's cooking tonight (hurray!) and we're having salmon - not sure what else as I am banned from the kitchen on these occasions
