Grumpy reached the grand young age of 65 last October and the pension people had been in touch, saying you'll receive an amount every month, plus Christmas bonus.
He had a letter from them in December to say that there was a problem with our account and could he complete another form. This time, we got the bank manager (love him) to do it, just to make sure that all the numbers were in the right place.
Still nothing went in.
So this morning, I rang them.
Due to "some-one" missing off three numbers from the account and also because they'd put in the incorrect code for Portugal,
no money was going in anywhere
So this very nice lady and I got it all sorted (with a little help from Grumpy
)
A vast amount of money is being put into our account tomorrow, so we can get at it by Friday, hopefully.
And apparently, it's snowing in Newcastle
But how on earth can you make such a mistake? Three numbers missing??? And last time I looked, the Algarve is in Portugal
