Just a quick update on my boy.
On Friday he went to The National Society for Epilepsy in Buckinghamshire for psychological testing. This is all part of the decision whether or not to do further surgery. The psychiatrist just talked but the psychologist had him working. She showed him lots of pictures 4 to a page and asked him to point to one. They started off easy and got harder and more abstract. He struggled a bit, but on one she asked him to point to the circle, out of a circle, oval, square and rectangle. He pointed to the oval and I must have said something because he looked at me. She moved on and a few pages later he said "can I see the circle again" She took him back and he got it right. All the while he kept looking at me and Tim for reassurance, but he did so well. She asked him what he liked doing and he said puzzles and watching DVD's. She said which films do you like, he said Shrek, she said any others, yes Shrek 2
Then we went to Woburn Abbey on the way home and he loved it. We got monkeys on the car and playful bears.
So that is the upside of the week.
The downside has been Tim with gout and Luke being served 3 months notice to leave his current residential home.
