Picking mum and dad up and we're going to Paloma Park in Benalmadena for a picnic.

It's so lovely there...and there's a market too in which mum and I will be book and wool hunting.

Lovely here too, isn't it good to have it all bright and sparkly

Hard to feel quite so bright but doing my best. It looks very much as though it's not going to be worth fixing the car, so wondering how little we can pay for a new one And we've already had to pay for the failed mot and what they'd done before they found the big problem and we told them to stop Thankfully it was still in one piece and the mot doesn't run out just yet so we went and collected it.
There's a place just up the road that always looks reasonable so we'll go and have a look.
Ho hum.

Well we have the perfick Spring day too Loz Just about to leave the house for the bus to Cheltenham, for my dental check up. Becks is coming too, more for the chance to mooch around the huuuge Primark there afterwards than to hold my hand I suspect

Pootling today, we have a couple of rugs that need cleaning, so will get the hosepipe out and then let them dry in the back garden And Grumpy needs a haircut - so once he's out of the shower, I'll be trying to get it level

good morning everyone

Hope you are all well, we are enjoying time off as its Easter Holidays so both off for 2 weeks been busy so far, Monday we went to Holy Island - in the rain - and came back through some coastal towns, stopped at Eyemouth and saw 2 seals in the harbour, it was very quiet as the weather was yucky but me and Amy were watching over talking and the seal came right up near us and was looking right at us - wish we had some food for it. Going to go back on Saturday and hope the wee van is open that sells fish to feed them!!

Today, Amy has the dentist at 11am, her last appointment and last filling, its very traumatic but she needs it done and then a referral to orthodontist will be made to see what the next plan of action is. (she is terrified of the dentist for some reason!)

Then we are going to the toy shop to buy her a treat for being so brave at her last few appointments, followed by a trip to the Cinema to see The Muppets Most Wanted - I LOVE the muppets!!

Hope everyone is having a good day and the weather is nice, its cloudy here but bright, the temperatures are meant to be going up over the weekend to a whopping 13/14 degrees, wowzers! lol

The hol is from f***it money, the car from 'we'd best have this here because we're bound to need it sooner or later' money

Morning all, fairly dull here but mild. I'm a bit down because the estate agent phoned yesterday and said he's rather disappointed that the house hasn't gone Sale Agreed yet, after four weeks. He thinks that maybe the pub next door is putting people off. We will just have to hang on and hope for the best, the people who put in an offer 5,000 below the asking price have had second thoughts. At least we are off to Blackpool on Friday for a fun weekend of dancing with 20 others, that will take our minds off it all for a while. So today will be spent mostly getting stuff ready for Blackpool and doing some more ironing. I'll go dancing tonight, although himself will be ensconced in front of the ManU-Bayern match and ain't gonna move for nobody Still have to leave the house clean and tidy when we go on Friday as there is another viewing on Saturday.

That's a real shame about the car, Di, I hope you manage to find a replacement that won't break the bank. Have a good day everyone
