Hubby just said they are forecasting a Force 12 gale over the Irish Sea area. Britain has never had a Force 12 before!!

The depression might only be classed as a storm, but those are hurricane force winds, the sort that even Michael Fish would recognise.

The wind has really picked up here in the Midlands in the last hour or so, we've had some strong squalls.
