Morning everyone

Overcast again but I have a silly smile on my face.

Daughter sent me a lovely photo of Oliver, followed by an e-mail, telling me about his progress at nursey etc. He's picking up what they're saying more and more and I just burst out laughing when she said they were in the supermarket the other day and dithering over something and he told his mum and dad that they really must crack on, time is passing

No, I won't be going to see the doc, I feel perfect. Pederito was right about the indigestion, I've been stuffed with excess wind and as Gladys can't get rid of much I have been suffering. But all tippity tip top now.

Good luck at the dentist Kaz, everything crossed this one stays put.

I'll try and drag Grumpy out later for a walk, he's not been along the cycle path yet and it's ideal weather for a good yomp

Morning all. Damp and miserable here this morning.

Work for me until 2pm. I have my line manager coming up today to do my annual review. I find it so pointless - I enjoy my part time job. I have just enough work to keep me ticking over. I have no aspirations to challenge myself - its why I chose to work part time! So I have to spend an hour this morning thinking up goals and targets fo the coming year and discussing my achievements for the past year. Yawn!

Village bonfire this evening - I am secretely hoping that it will rain so I don't have to go. Bah humbug. It is always cold, damp, dark and muddy!

Mick is away - I would rather curl up in front of the fire and catch up on all the stuff I recorded when I was away.

Need to set a new ticker. What can I count down to this time ...........I wonder.

I always hated annual review time too debih. Although I worked full time I was quite happy being a secretary and had no ambition to further my career. Sitting down talking about achievements/goals always seemed such a waste of time.

Popping over to visit mother this morning. Will see about taking her out, it really depends on how hard it's raining when we get there.

That beautiful bouquet I got is now two beautiful bunches One has all the hot pinks and oranges, and the other the cool creams, green and pale yellow
The lilies are just starting to come out and the freesias nearly all open now, they're gorgeous
Not much doing here today, think I'll catch up with some tv and read this afternoon

Morning all, nice morning here although it was raining heavily about 8am. I've been building up to a "dose" of something or other, sore throat, feeling cold and shivery etc. It has finally developed into my annual dose whereby I feel awful for a couple of days, then wake up one morning with my voice very much on the wane (cue happy hubby ) and although I am very tired, I can actually function.

Mr. Osc got his new iphone 5 yesterday, which means I now get his iphone 4, so I need to pop over to Vodafone so they can move my sim card. Wouldn't have felt like doing that yesterday, but think I can manage it today. I bought a new cover for it last night on ebay, I like a pink sparkly one so I can see it in my handbag Mr. Osc was fascinated with the low prices and ended up ordering himself a cover for the new phone and a new cover for his ipad too!

Hope the dentist finally sorts out your problem once and for all, Kaz. Have a good day everyone
