How about a holiday in Portugal for you all Kaz?

We have plenty of balconies and cupboards, as well as 3 bedrooms and an attic :kick: :kick: :kick:

It should be sunny and warm, we can all walk along the beach, H can play on our new open-air gym (I kid you not - it's brill!) or on the beach, you can all go for a swim (I'll watch) and we can have a bbq.

Sorted :D

Tom wants cash as well Kaz, he's penniless too  I've got a few ideas for stocking fillers for them.
I'm already struggling with what to get my parents though, and John's Mom. I might get her perfume. It sounds awful but it's not worth putting any thought into what we get her (John agrees with me on this) because she's never satisfied with anything you get for her :?
The only hobby my parents really have is gardening and I really can't resort to a giftcard for the garden centre again! And I think I've bought boxsets of all of their favourite TV shows so I can't even get anything like that  Anything they want they just go and buy anyway so it's not like I can get them anything they've said they'd like but haven't bought. They always tell me not to bother buying them anything but I have to, I couldn't not get them a present, bless 'em.

Christmas Eve over here is a massive family affair.

Not a shop or bar will be open after 6pm as all families will want to be together to share in 'una gran reunión familiar', all the family being together.

The main Christmas presents are handed over by Papa Noel on the eve of January 5th.

January 6th is a huge celebratory day. :D :D

Of course, Spain being Spain in that it is a country that will celebrate the opening of a banana (ha ha! ) from December 6th to January 6th every day, all over Spain, there will be something to drink, dance or have a hooley to. :kick: :kick:

Viva España :D :D :kick: :kick:

Been sampling mince pies. Can't decide between Aldi and the ones with icing sugar on from Asda Got our Xmas pudding from Aldi. According to DM they are the best. Will wait till early December to get some goodies in. Will try to get the wine from Sainsburys when they have a special offer on.

Gus makes wonderful mince pies. Stir up Sunday hasn't happened yet, I will probably make a Christmas cake this next week.
I just love Christmas.

Mum made Christmas cakes in August, just before we went on holiday. They were put in the bottom drawer of the wardrobe wrapped in tin foil, but they would be opened every now and then and given a drink of sherry or brandy or tea.
