Apparently the vitreous humour, the gel behind the eye, does gradually detach as you age, and it tends to happen earlier with short-sightedness. Bb is blind as a bat without his glasses, so presumably more suscepitble. But yes, it just 'happens', no warning, nothing
We think he'll be able to watch TV from the other sofa if I move it, then he'll be directly in front of the screen when he's lying on his side iyswim. At the moment he's on the sofa with his head in the right place but he's playing on the Galaxy; he's read a bit on the kindle too, thank goodness for technology!
I don't envy us either tbh, but you know, you just deal with whatever's thrown your way
