There is of course the "ten second rule" - once you pick it up within 10 seconds, it hasn't got any germs on it and is fine to eat ....

To be perfectly honest, I do it all the time :oops: :lol:

Not with bacon, but an onion say, something like that, they often slip/roll - well, once they're washed, then cooked at x degrees, nothing's going to survive that shouldn't :D
We're never, ever ill, I wouldn't actually do anything I thought might be dodgy ;)
