Afternoon all - just back from a smashing day in Cheltenham, as the dental appt didn't take long..... The dental stuff is nothing nasty, they are making me a sooper-dooper space age chrome plate for some missing teeth I have towards the back. I've done perfectly well up until now with the gap, but unfortunately my teeth are on the move because of it so now I need something to fill the gap :?

Apparently the chrome ones are better fitting and smaller than the NHS plastic ones, ie fitting behind the teeth rather than covering the whole roof of the mouth, so I am having one of those - but it means lots of impressions and fittings. He dispensed with the xrays in the end as he said my teeth are all very healthy and I had loads of xrays a few years back 8-) I did think of implants but OMG they are sooo expensive, thousands in fact ( ), so the plate it is

Had a good mooch in Cavendish House after my appt and got a couple of real bargains, a top from Kaliko included :D I was looking for stuff for H really but they no longer have a children's clothing dept  I don't feel too guilty though as I got off the bus in Gloucester, nipped into Debenhams and found just what he needed half price in the Blue Zoo sale 8-)

Osc what a nerve she has
