Afternoon all - just back from a smashing day in Cheltenham, as the dental appt didn't take long..... The dental stuff is nothing nasty, they are making me a sooper-dooper space age chrome plate for some missing teeth I have towards the back. I've done perfectly well up until now with the gap, but unfortunately my teeth are on the move because of it so now I need something to fill the gap
Apparently the chrome ones are better fitting and smaller than the NHS plastic ones, ie fitting behind the teeth rather than covering the whole roof of the mouth, so I am having one of those - but it means lots of impressions and fittings. He dispensed with the xrays in the end as he said my teeth are all very healthy and I had loads of xrays a few years back I did think of implants but OMG they are sooo expensive, thousands in fact ( ), so the plate it is
Had a good mooch in Cavendish House after my appt and got a couple of real bargains, a top from Kaliko included I was looking for stuff for H really but they no longer have a children's clothing dept I don't feel too guilty though as I got off the bus in Gloucester, nipped into Debenhams and found just what he needed half price in the Blue Zoo sale
