The kids have porridge every morning, but it's only made once a week. We make up a big batch with water, brown sugar, and tinned apple pie filling. We then portion it out into daily breakfast portions, and freeze it. Each day, I just grab one out of the freezer, stick it in the microwave to reheat. If needed, I mix a bit of the hot water from the jug that's been boiled from my coffee to make it sloppy.
For me, I have 3 weetbix as I can eat it in 2 minutes flat, and that's all I usually have time for and it has to keep me filled up till lunchtime.
