So if I had a boat with outboard it would be cheeky to respond:

Yep, one boat with outboard, free to the person who offers 100 hours of work in the garden?????
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.

Ah but Aggers, the difference is you're offering, and I agree it's really is nice to see people enjoy what they are getting... I sold a brand new fish tank a while back for a fraction of what it was worth but the person who bought it was just so very obviously happy and pleased I was glad it went to him. But to ask for something like a boat and motor; I think is just pushing it a bit ;)

And Suff; I'd love to see what kind of reply you'd get to that email

Well you're not allowed to barter suff, not on freecycle ;)
But all our experiences have been really good :)
Someone asked for craft/dressmaking patterns. I offered her 2 years' worth of Prima magazine, with some patterns missing; she was incredibly grateful and turned up with jars of homemade jam and chutney :)
Looked for table (for my sewing) for little bedroom when we split the bunks and moved them into the other bedroom and got wonderful dark oak refectory table :)
