Ah but Aggers, the difference is you're offering, and I agree it's really is nice to see people enjoy what they are getting... I sold a brand new fish tank a while back for a fraction of what it was worth but the person who bought it was just so very obviously happy and pleased I was glad it went to him. But to ask for something like a boat and motor; I think is just pushing it a bit

Well you're not allowed to barter suff, not on freecycle
But all our experiences have been really good
Someone asked for craft/dressmaking patterns. I offered her 2 years' worth of Prima magazine, with some patterns missing; she was incredibly grateful and turned up with jars of homemade jam and chutney
Looked for table (for my sewing) for little bedroom when we split the bunks and moved them into the other bedroom and got wonderful dark oak refectory table
