A BIG pan.....

..... of tomato and lentil soup, with mixed beans and mixed peppers, is on the go.

It would not be normal food for March, but as it is SNOWING I thought it might be good for a change. 8-)

Bring your own bowl and bread and form a tidy queue - I have spoons. :D

What about gazpacho ALE... that's cool? 8-)

I was going to have a second bowl of my concoction, but it is so filling I settled for a cup of coffee and a digestive. :D :D

Can I have a big thick crust when the loaf has cooled, spread with real butter. Used to have one when my mother baked bread when I was young. Used to kneed it before it was put in a very large bowl to rise. Used to buy two ounces of yeast. It was cut off a big block.
