It would not be normal food for March, but as it is SNOWING I thought it might be good for a change.

Bring your own bowl and bread and form a tidy queue - I have spoons.

I was going to have a second bowl of my concoction, but it is so filling I settled for a cup of coffee and a digestive.

Can I have a big thick crust when the loaf has cooled, spread with real butter. Used to have one when my mother baked bread when I was young. Used to kneed it before it was put in a very large bowl to rise. Used to buy two ounces of yeast. It was cut off a big block.
