Osc, Debih and WM me too
Well, I could fry an egg thank to my mum, but she always said I taught her how to cook
Good Housekeeping has been my 'go to' book for, goodness, about 40 years
I bought it from the book club soon after I started work!
Delia's How to cheat at cooking was my second book, I would cook her Italian Beef for my parents to feed guests while they were out at cricket. Guests would never believe their 16-yr-old had done it, none of their children cooked 'proper' meals.
I had a lovely time with that book, through several boyfriends we worked our way through chicken curry (add a chopped apple and raisins), there was a pork dish using Homepride white wine sauce, all sorts
And Debih wot's wrong with fish fingers
I'm worn out from Minnie, I've cooked some sausages in the oven and am doing a baked potato for Bb, and found a portion of baked beans in the freezer so that's him sorted. Also cooked more chicken breast for Minnie and for him for tomorrow's sandwiches, and now have some fish fingers in the oven plus a few tiny sausage rolls to add to his packed food. I'd got them for him and youngest as a treat but with his new brace youngest couldn't have them.
You could say that's all junk but in context with what we mostly have I'm not bothered
