And on the subject of sausages...I'm making pizzas tonight and adding sausage to the topping. Just squeezing the meat out of the casing. Adding some red onion and mushrooms to the pizza too :D

We're having pizzas too :)
The recipe we make does 3 pizzas, so we take a third off each time, and this time had 2 portions in the freezer.

Bb is having serrano and chorizo on his, so sausage too :)
I had some prawns and anchovies left in the freezer so am having those, with pointy red pepper, a few capers, and black olives. If that doesn't tempt me nothing will :)

We are having a chicken and chorizo thing. Probably with some bread.

I'm not at all hungry so haven't really thought about it yet! S is out with friends and L has had pasta earlier on so it is just the two of us. I'm hoping that Mick will get sick of waiting for me to produce dinner and go and do it himself.

What I really fancy is a cheese and ham toastie - but we threw our sandwich maker away when the kitchen collapsed. I will buy a new one when it is all sorted.

Debih I got rid of my sandwich toaster when I was trying to save space in the kitchen, and I miss it too :)
Under the grill's good too though ;)

I've not been able to face food properly, but we've made the pizzas and they're in the oven, and I will eat it - hopefully I may even enjoy it :)

I know exactly how you are feeling - I lost a stone when Millie first had her accident.

I ate it and it was lovely, but it was more or less all I've had all day. It's fine if it's shoved in front of you isn't it.

My local butcher makes award winning pork and leek sausages that are divine.

I usually just have them with gravy, onion and carrots and a lovely pile of buttery mash potato-yummy.

I'm salivating! I adore sausages and buy them from our farm shop and they are made from their own pigs. So is their bacon. Sausages, onion gravy, creamy mash and processed peas is a perfect meal. Although nothing beats a Full English (or of course a Full Scots/Irish/Welsh) and now developed a love of hash browns as well.

When I travel abroad I always wonder why our beautiful sausages haven't been promoted. Wherever we go the sausages are horrid. Everthing else can be great-the bacon, the eggs, the bread, the butter, the mushrooms but dreadful excuses for a sausage.
