I usually just have them with gravy, onion and carrots and a lovely pile of buttery mash potato-yummy.
I'm salivating! I adore sausages and buy them from our farm shop and they are made from their own pigs. So is their bacon. Sausages, onion gravy, creamy mash and processed peas is a perfect meal. Although nothing beats a Full English (or of course a Full Scots/Irish/Welsh) and now developed a love of hash browns as well.
When I travel abroad I always wonder why our beautiful sausages haven't been promoted. Wherever we go the sausages are horrid. Everthing else can be great-the bacon, the eggs, the bread, the butter, the mushrooms but dreadful excuses for a sausage.
