It's lovely here this morning. Just back from having a short back and sides at the barbers,
and doing a bit of top-up shopping.

We might pop out this afternoon and get a few more plants for our adopted garden.

Right at the end of Baker Street (Regent's Park end) is where I was. You had 221b Baker Street (always choc-a-bloc with Japanese tourists ) then the Abbey National building society was next then a pub.
Turn the corner right there and it was Park Road - the dental practise I worked at was number 7 in the most beautiful 5 storey house. We were on the second floor looking right into Regent's Park.

I recently googled (aka being nosey ) at what the house might be worth and it said £1,570,000.

I know Roger the owner bought it outright for a song in the 1970s!

Yes..we were there from June 89 - Jan 92 and had an absolutely brilliant time.

You two (Ally and Di) worked in the posh part of London, I was in a gigantic government building on the borders of grimy old Acton/Shepherd's Bush That's now been made into posh flats though I saw them advertised in the S Times property supplement a few years ago, apparently it is no longer so grotty and grimy

Funnily enough, I spent quite a lot of time in East Acton. I worked in insolvency, one of our liquidations was out there
