But last week Gal, we were saying how lovely it would be without the freezing wind :D

We found this place for lunch today, it's just around the corner from where the (very few) shops end, so wouldn't have known without tripadvisor
here

It was lovely, a really good, proper pub, several draught beers, draught cider, every member of staff spoke to us and was genuinely friendly, all homemade food and good value :)

LOL - Di, I like your thinking and that is sort of what I did. Got off the bed and pottered about outside; that way I couldn't see the windows. But they will have to be cleaned sooner rather than later sadly

Rather grey and windy here this morning as well; such a change from yesterday :( But just hope the weather holds for the weekend; we're having a BBQ tomorrow and then I'm helping out all day at Wildlife Aid (them of the Wildlife SOS TV programme). It's their annual open day and I'm manning the bric-a-brac stall. Always good fun and for a very good cause - but dry warm(ish) weather would be great as that gets more people to visit
