Yay I can reply again! Thanks Kaz for posting for me, who knows what was going on last night. Gremlins I think.
Sky's clouded over this morning, and the winds picking up. Time to get moving, I've got lots to do before it hits.
Reports out of Vanuatu are horrific, entire villages gone, cyclone proof houses loosing roofs... Debris everywhere.... I feel so sorry for them, I can recognise places in the pictures, but the devastation makes it hard. Solomon Islands have been hit too, but no real reports from there yet, my brother was asked to work there for a year starting in a fortnight, he said no, but I'm wondering if he's going to get flown up for a bit to help get things up and running again?
We won't have that devastation here, these cyclones loose a lot of their strength by the time the get here thanks to the cooler water. And the eye is not going to pass over us. Thankfully.
Everything happens for a reason
