I am ok, but thank you.
I just posted one of those little sayings about if you had not met one person how different your life would be and I commented that had I had a "normal' child I wouldn't know the wonderful people I do. My friend and her daughter, interestingly the only two that either don't have a child with disabilities or (despite what out of work nursery nurse Danielle would have you believe) do not work in the world of special needs, took huge and I mean huge exception to the word 'normal"
It was a complete attack. I didn't reply and they just posted post after post about how insulting the word normal is, how it was disgusting, how I thought I was better than them, blah blah blah
The bit that made me laugh was when Danielle said "I am leaving the conversation now it is petty" I was tempted to say, its not a conversation. A conversation needs more than one person talking.
Plus for a nursery nurse her spelling was atrocious
But on the plus side I have had some lovely comments on there, and off Facebook a lot of people have contacted me to see if all is ok.
