Morning all
hope those with grey skies (myself included) wake up to sunshine soon.
Ally I'd love to see that outfit
A bit of an up and down day here. The storm has passed, and the day got warmer. yesterday we barely made 16, today we started out that way but were up to 22 by the end of the day, oh and humid as the tropics.
The day started at 7:30am with the builder arriving to install the vanity in our downstairs bathroom, followed minutes later by the plumber to install all the taps, shower rose, toilet etc... then the electrician arrived at 1 to finish the wiring up, and the builder came back at 3 to put up the towel racks and toilet roll holder. Tomorrow's job is to finish sanding down the windows and start varnishing them. I keep going to do it this week and last, but someone or the other arrives and leaves wet grouting/waterproofing/silcone etc so I can't put lots of dust into the air. Once the windows are done, phew, the bathroom is finished. I'm so excited.
Oliver was suppose to go to butterfly creek on a preschool trip today, but unfortunately due to the weather, that was changed to inflatable world (giant bouncy castle type set up) and sounds like they had a blast, even though it wasn't the butterfly's and crocodiles they were looking forward to.
Hubby went to a specialist today, it sounds like he has some type of auto immune disease, but they don't know which one yet. today he's had more blood tests, and some xrays, but will probably need an MRI as well. Looks like our annus horribilis for health continues.
Sasha has finished school for the year. No more school for her now until Feb. She has spent the day today feeling like a third wheel and at a loss to know what to do with herself.
Sasha informed me this morning that it was 7 days to Christmas. I looked at the calendar and
'ed my self. Thankfully they are going to the grandparents on sunday, so Hubby and I will be hurriedly finishing the shopping etc.
oh and I mowed the lawns tonight. I was tempted to take a photo say'ing "Just out making hay" but I thought people might believe me.
It was long enough, and I could use some hay....hmmm.....
