Ria I'm keeping the very deep plummy colour I've had the past couple of times, but might have a bit of sparkle on the little fingers  :P

Good luck laying the flooring!!!! xxx

Morning all :)

(((((Debih))))) thinking of you and the family today xxx

Well the search for a suitable hairdresser will have to continue  To be fair the colour is perfect, but it's difficult to judge the cut yet as somehow, and believe me it's not easy, she managed to dry my hair straighter than it's ever been. I even showed her a photo on my phone so she would have an idea of what I like, but no it's not just extreeeemely straight, it's as flat as a pancake with no body at all  At one stage she even asked if I would like her to use the straightener, so what part of our conversation did she actually listen to   Okay I can redo the blow dry here at home, but for £50 I expect to be able to walk out of the salon feeling my hair looks good, not wishing I had a big hat to hide it!!

Expecting two Tesco deliveries this afternoon, one with groceries, the other to replenish our dwindling wine stock, so won't be going much further than the village when we've had brekkie.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning :)
Lovely day here, cold but fairly bright.

A nice slow start for us both - Bb's pretty knackered too - then we need to pop into town, there's a parcel to collect and we must need some food...then we have to do a blitz on the house between us ;)

Thinking of you Debih (((xx)))
Ton it definitely needs to be celebrated :)

Well that was easy!

Ria - we all picked a name out of a hat on who to buy a secret pressie for.

I've got R a gorgeous scarf (and I know she likes them) it's a beautiful blue colour with tiny bits of silver running through it.

And at the till was a nail varnish that matched perfectly! Sorted. :P :P

Haven't been up long.. This cold I have doesn't bother me during the night,
when I sleep like a log. Half an hour after rising it hits me. It's very odd.

Another day in hibernation for me. I do feel a little better today.

Hope you all are well and have a good day.

Good afternoon all :)

It's gone a bit grey here after a bright start. I hope it stays dry long enough for Billy to get another walk. We had a lovely one in the sunshine this morning and he got to play with our neighbour's dogs over on the hill while I chatted to the neighbour, then we came across a woman walking a very playful pup so there was a lot of fun to be had there!

I ran into town this morning and saw a cardigan for MIL so I got it. We're taking the Christmas presents down to her on Monday so I had to get something before then. I hope she'll like it, it's quite a heavy knit waterfall style in burgundy, her kind of style and her kind of colour. I just need to get her something to go with it, a book or smellies maybe. All that's left to buy now, apart from food, are garden centre vouchers for my parents and I think I'll get Roger, my sister's fella, one too as he's got big plans for the garden at their new house.

Thinking of you today Debbie xxx

Have a good day all!

Just got home. I'm now in bed - I feel completely drained and have a stonking headache.

It went really well. The church was almost full. And I did my speech - all of it, including the poem!

I took mum home - I offered for her to stay here but she wanted to go home - and have co e for a lie down. Mick has taken Millie out, S has gone to my sisters and L is making chocolate brownies!

Mum and I counted the donations when we got home. There is almost £600. It's going to Calibre, talking books for the blind.

And I came home to a lovely box of chocolates on the doorstep with a note saying "thinking of you all today. Hope these help a little" but no name on so I'm trying to find out who they are off. I've just emailed the most likely suspect and if they aren't from her, I'm stumped!
