Facial hair.

Postby Aggers » 09 Dec 2014, 18:58

Why is it that so many men are now letting their facial hair grow?
Is it laziness?
Or just the slavish following of fashion?
Do true Englishmen really want to look like Muslims?

I find it rather disgusting. What do you ladies think?

My husband has a beard. That is a pretty sweeping statement Aggers x

Much of it is just fashion. Stubble and beards are in fashion now, in a couple of years they won't be.
I actually think a lot of the full sets of whiskers make men look like the late George V...

Not quite sure what you mean Aggers.

Grumpy has had a beard for over 40 years. He grew it for two reasons. One, he used to get the most appalling shave rash. Two, it covers up a very very nasty motorbike accident he was in, when he virtually lost one side of his face.

I think maybe Aggers is more concerned about the new trend - which is even being noticed over here.

Grumpy used to be the only bloke in our village with a beard. Now?? Zillions of the buggers. And I must admit, some of them do look a bit fierce 8-)

I don't like these big bushy full beards that some younger men have at the moment :o

(There're some flippin' good looking Muslim men with facial hair though).
