There is that, Aggers, but we also thought that she had peaked / plateaued in her performances over the last two weeks - and another dancer who has done the same is Frankie Bridge. Mrs O and I said on Saturday that we could see either Pixie or Frankie in the dance-offs on Sunday ........

and that's the problem of starting high, with nowhere to go.

I thought it might be Frankie, but the public like Kevin more than Trent and his backchat to Len won't have helped, as Brendan has learnt over the years.

I just feel people like Frankie and Pixie have an enormous advantage over the overs. They are beautiful, young, supple, used to learning routines, used to performing live, high self confidence. I don't understand why there was all that vitriol that year against Denise Van Outen, for having danced on the stage, and yet no one complains about the likes of Pixie, Frankie, etc

Don't get me wrong I love Frankie, but its not a level playing field.

You make some good points there, Miasmum.

There are so many factors influencing the results.
It's not just the dancing.

I am loving this year's SCD. :D :D :D

The standard is so high.

I'm rooting for Mark to win. 8-) 8-)

As fantastic as Frankie and Caroline are - to me it's Mark who has shone..going from no dancing whatsoever to the moves he can now perform effortlessly.

And he's just so lovely. :x :x :x

Completely agree Ally, although would also be happy for Caroline to win(cos that keeps Pasha on view the longest) :D :D

I thought Kevin was going to lump Len on Saturday when he said Karen let Mark down and she started crying. I felt sorry for him as he was trying to get to her, Brendan pulled him back. I presume they were told to, but it was hard to watch. I like Kevin, he is as involved in Karen's 'journey' as his own. He was so thrilled last night when they went through as well.

I think Mark is lovely too Ally, and to me he is what it is all about, someone who has learnt to dance and improves every week. I was glad to see the back of Jake, he seemed to think all he needed to do was shake his hips and he would be fine.

Agree with all you say MM - I think , Frankie is mesmerising to watch, but she does have a dancing background so it's only to be expected.

Mark to win!!!

I rather like Caroline, don't know what she did before but she was awfully stiff and uncoordinated when she started; loved her Argentine tango :)
Mark too, he suddenly changed the other week, from learning the right steps to dancing them :D

Sometimes I am most disappointed in the music they are expected to dance to.
This week the music for a Viennese Waltz was terrible, and it wasn't helped by
having a singer who couldn't sing in time.

It's been the best season for years and I think we have an exciting final to look forward to on Saturday, I'm excited about it! I particularly like Mark who is so sweet, and Simon has come on amazingly, his Foxtrot last Saturday was the dance of the night for me. Aggers, I agree about some of the music, very strange and often inappropriate choices, obviously whoever chooses them has never done any dancing other than bopping around at a disco at the office party
