Well, that's possibly a slight exaggeration, saundra - my father was a flying instructor and I had some lessons with him in my teens but didn't keep going with them though.

When we flew to India I asked for me and the boys to go into the cockpit (you could in those days ) and it was brilliant.

All those dials and digits and switches and...oh dear, nerdy Norma again.

We have a lovely photo of the three of us in the cockpit of a Virgin plane flying to Florida. Luke would have been about 8 and you can see Tim hanging on to his left arm with a fierce grip, just in case he grabbed anything

Go on an African Safari - erm, been on an Indian safari where we saw elephants, crocodiles, sloth bears and a tigers bum

Learn to speak another language - well it doesn't say aster it! Lol
See Gorillas in the wild - I've seen elephants and monkeys, does that count?

Fly a plane - couple of times in a glider
Travel New Zealand in a Winnebago - this one is a bit wrong, a Winnebago wouldn't get over some of the best passes in th South Island. But I've done the length and width in a 4x4, off road included.
Go to Disneyworld
Dedicate time to volunteering

Run a marathon - I've walked one, does that count?
Abseil down a mountain
Do an army assault course

Only 30 to do.
Lapland earmarked for Christmas 2015, really hope to see the northern lights at the same time
