Good morning Sunday

Good afternoon all, it's been quite sunny here today but it looks like we had a lot of rain during the night.

I'm trying to motivate myself to get the tree and decorations from the garage. We ran out of time yesterday so I said I'd do it after lunch today...but I had a nap instead I was just about to go and make bacon sarnies for tea when M (and her sore throat) turned up - that girl's timing for food is impeccable

Yesterday's shopping trip went well. We were in Wolverhampton by 10, it's only 15-20 mins away but I thought the traffic would be bad with it being close to Christmas but it wasn't, it was really quiet. We hit Primark first and Joe found everything he wanted there and I found a lovely check shirt/tshirt set for Tom for Christmas and a lovely soft and fluffy jumper for myself and then we walked straight to an empty check out!

Right, off to do those sarnies....

Hi all - been a bright and sunny day here, so as we'd been hands full with family since Friday night, we decided to make the most of it and had an impromptu trip to the beach, a brisk walk, and then a portion of fish n chips to eat in the car. It was so nice we didn't want to leave so I suggested calling into the Marina on the way back for a latte....it was gorgeous.

Peace and quiet tonight as for the third night off the trot Jen is working, bless her, she was already gone when we got home around 4pm. So I think we'll watch a bit of telly and an early night.

I'm off work now till Dec 15th but have a busy week in the offing, T is off tomorrow and we discussed going to Newcastle for a last minute shop...then on Wednesday I am going to watch Lewis in his school play - he has a line, "I bring myrrh", so I'm guessing he is a Wise Man! LOL Hair cut on Thursday, GP on Friday and then staff meal out on Saturday.

Evening all, bitterly cold here all day but dry. We had a busy day - brought three suitcases full plus kitchen stuff to the rented place and unpacked it all. Noticed that the kitchen needs to be cleaned to our standards!! Then back home to collect some things from our storage and put some away. Then we decided to pop into the site and one of the builders was there - he had a problem with the layout of our ensuite bathroom so us calling in was fortuitous as we were able to sort it there and then. Tired now, just had our tea and looking forward to SCD and Remember Me. We are supposed to be babysitting, but nobody is home yet so plans may have changed. Another early start tomorrow as we have a manwithavan coming to move some of our furniture into storage, then we will make a couple of runs to the apartment plus do a food shop so it will be busy again. Hope Frank is feeling better and that everyone is nice and warm. Di and Bryan, enjoy London, lovely at this time of year.

We're having a lovely time
Got the tube to Piccadilly circus and walked all the way from there to Marble arch
It was worth it to see Selfridges windows, plus I treated myself to a lovely beauty bargain in John Lewis

Came back to Waterloo, more walking, then had dinner at Wahaca which was yum
Bb's enjoying the snooker, if it ever finishes we might have a drink in the bar.
