We're having a cold snap - and by heck, it's cold

To those of you used to almost freezing temperatures, I'm sure that 13C is not c old- but to us, it blinkin' is    And we«'re probably going down to single figures for the next few nights

The fire has been roaring - and I mean roaring - since 4.00 this afternoon. The air con - on heat - will be on later, to warm the bedroom up.

I've got three layers on, plus socks, slippers, the lot  and I will, no doubt, have to get the hot water bottles in the bed, later

But tonights curry was so hot, we ended up stripping off

This was very tongue in the cheek stuff

But, when you've lived in a reasonably warm country for 9 years and you get a cold snap - it really gets in yer bones    8-)

And to my so-called friend Kim, who thinks Grumpy shouldn't have a fuel allowance - boo sucks - all of it went on a ton of wood. And the way we're having to use it - we'll need another ton in January

I'm sobbing into my hot chocolate for you.

Shame my tears are turning to ice. Must be because it's minus 2 outside.

But gosh, 13 degrees. Poor you.

Aww Ton, my sympathy is genuine, honest :x
Stone floors and no central heating are no fun at 10 degrees.
It's zero here but at least we have carpets
