Good morning. :D

Another gorgeous day on the cards. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'm enjoying a coffee before a killer hill walk. :x

Back to enjoy Mr Martin.

Staying in today...it's a National holiday so all the shops are closed. I'm looking forward to a lazy day reading and eating chocolate.

SCD and a Chinese takeaway tonight...bliss. :D :D

Enjoy the day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all!

It's sunny but icy here this morning. It rained last night just before the temperatures dropped. Tom's working 8-4 and I'm currently battling with Joe. He's had a rapid growth spurt - at 5'7 I'm now the shortest in the house - and desperately needs new longer trousers but I need John with us as I can't go in the male changing rooms and Joe will tell me something fits even if it doesn't just to get out of there, so the plan was to get into Wolverhampton early but he's struggling with getting out of bed! :o

I might do the Christmas tree later and try to talk John into putting the icicle lights up.

Have a good day all!

Morning all. Really frosty here.

Mick has gone out to put the lights on the village xmas tree. I'm just about to get up. S is off to work later and L is going to the xmas market with her friend.

I'm going to potter and do Hwork.

Quiet night in tonight. I mean it. I said that for last night and we didn't get home til almost 2am!

Morning all :)

A beautiful sunny morning here, but thick frost on the field opposite  I much prefer that to rain however :)

Debih, enjoy your day pottering :) xxx

Ally, rest and choccy sound good to me, wish I could join you 8-) :P

Jo, can you not ask him to try on and then come out and show you? ;) I've done that with H before now - oh and SNAP on the height thingy LOL. B is (just) the tallest at pretty much 6ft, H is only a whisker behind her at around 5ft 10, then Mick's about an inch or so taller than little me - and I'm 5ft 6 and a half  :x

Usual quiet Saturday, as per these days - H at his dad's and Becky working :? Lunch out, then visiting D, then maybe the decorations if I can talk Mick into it :P :D 8-)

Have a lovely day everyone xxxxxxx

Morning all :)

Bright and sunny here, but no frost, although as we're up so late there could have been some earlier

We're off out shopping for fresh veggies when we've had brekkie. It's a real nuisance not being able to put things like that in this old fridge, they freeze so quickly, but I daren't turn it down any more because of the stuff in the freezer below. Mind you on a day like today it's nice to have a reason to go out, back in Swindon I'd probably have stayed indoors and missed the lovely sunshine.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all, looks like another bright cold day out there. I was awake for over an hour during the night, but then slept until almost 8.30  We collect the keys for our short term rental at 1pm, hope it's ok. Back to more packing and I think SIL is doing pizza for everyone this evening, then we will settle down for SCD. Enjoy your day everyone :D

Morning everyone

Gorgeous morning here too, but berlimey, chilly in the shade

We've already been out, to Olhao, as I needed some foodie stuff for the week-end. Now having another cup of coffee, then fresh rolls for brekkie :D

Hope you get the keys Osc and all is well with you and the build over there :D

Pottering for us too and I'm not being allowed to sit in the sun for too long today, I ended up with a headache yesterday. It was 22C in the shade, but double that in the sun and I sat in it for about 4 hours    8-)

Hope the trouser buying goes well :D and you all have a good day xx

Morning :)
A beautiful day, very frosty, the cars are still thick with it, but blue sky and sunshine :D

Bb's out working, I'd better try not to faff too much and get ready for our trip to London :D
I've found my train tickets so that's a start - they arrived before we went to Spain :D
And I finally had my hair cut yesterday :)
We're off lunchtime tomorrow, so Bb will be taking Minnie to her boarder mid-morning.
The plan is to go and see Oxford & Regent Street lights and shop windows once we've arrived and unpacked, but will wait and see what time it is and how we feel.

Tomorrow night we think we're going for dinner here:
http://www.auberge-restaurant.co.uk/waterloo/
The hotel's just down Waterloo Rd so it's nice and close - and I've downloaded a voucher for 2-for-1 mains ;)

On Monday Bb will be at his course all day, so once I've had his breakfast (one paid for, and he won't want it!) the day's all mine :D
I shall need to save some energy for the evening - we're meeting meriad, I'm all excited already :D :P
Plus, my mad Canadian cousin, who lives in London, is joining us later on - really looking forward to meeting her too, she's bonkers so should fit in nicely :D
Bb will have to behave as he'll have to be back for day 2 by 9.15 :!:
My train back on Tuesday will get me here to go and collect Minnie before going back to the station to collect himself - think I'll need Wednesday off! :D

Good luck with the trousers Jo, and hope the rental's good Osc x
Hope you all have a good day

Good morning all

It's a lovely morning here after a cold and frosty start. We're just back from our weekly shop at Aldi, loaded with goodies.

I think we will be watching the telly most of the weekend, as there are so many of our favourite programmes on - Strictly,
Snooker, and Cycle Racing, to name but a few. :)

Have a nice weekend. :P
