That is a lovely idea Ria, but with it being ceramic I would hate to take the tiniest risk of it cracking with the heat xxx

Shell I don't know, the stem is really long, from the floor it comes to the top of my boots!

Jo that's nice, he's growing up 8-) :) xxx

Hope you get yours soon Jen :)

I bought a lovely slender vase in Debenhams, slightly narrower at the top, and am going to get some glass beads/pebbles for it to weight it down :) I'll post a pic when I get the beads :)

On a more sombre note, one of Mick's friends here in Gloucester got his delivered with two petals broken  :o :o :o

They really should never have used Yodel  :x

Can't wait to see what it looks like Kaz! :) I still need to take a photo of mine, every time I remember to do it the light's too poor and the flash makes it too bright.

That's a shame about Mick's friend's poppy. I still can't believe that they used Yodel

That sounds perfect Kaz :)

They did a report on Breakfast the other day, showing them all being packed and despatched, it was quite impressive. They did say it was inevitable that the odd one, out of so many, would get damaged, but they had a system in place so hopefully all will be ok x

Still waiting for mine. The link just says that they are still being picked. :o

I havent had an email or anything about it - I just used the tracking information and it has no details which apparantley means it is still being picked and I should expect them in January/february.

As long as they do arrive I dont mind when, though it would be nice to have them by xmas.

I just felt sick when I saw that it was delivered by Yodel. We have an absolute nightmare with them and I refuse to buy things if I know that they will deliver.

They cant get their vans up our lane and so their drivers either refuse to walk up or just dump parcels on the doorsteps of the houses lower down. We have all had lots of problems with them.

But Ive just checked my deliver details and they are due to go to my mums. Phew.

Thats if they ever get processed!
