This has reminded me Kaz.

A few months after I'd met Don we decided to go on holiday - he gave me his credit card and off I went to the travel agents (that sounds so old fashioned now! ) and promptly booked us 2 weeks in Gambia! 8-) 8-) 8-)

Then we realised various jabs had to be given before the trip and it turned out the yellow fever one wouldn't be done in time.

So we had it done anyway..and accidentally smudged the date on the certificate.

This was the trip that, 2 days before we left, I realised my passport would run out whilst in Africa.

Resulting in a hastily arranged day in London with a pit stop at Petty France to pick up an emergency one.

 You like to live dangerously Ally      :P

She needs one tomorrow, one exactly 7 days later then one on exactly day 21 or 28. Day 21 is Boxing Day and day 28 is two days before she leaves! Talk about a rush  :o :(

Morning all :)

Grey and overcast at the moment. Fingers crossed the rain stays away long enough for us to get to the shops and the post office, need to post our overseas cards today.

We bought a Christmas tree yesterday, tbh we weren't sure if we'd bother this year as we'll be in Swindon, but in the end we decided we could still enjoy it through December...........and I think E would cry if he didn't get one  When we get back from the shops it will be operation decorations. Oh and he rifled through the boxes until he found his Christmas CD's, thought I'd got away lightly this year, but no they were blaring out all yesterday afternoon. Oh the joys of living with an oversized boy

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning all, it's fairly dreary here. Now that we know where we are going (update elsewhere) we are working our way through a list of things to do. Have already made some phone calls while Mr Osc was sorting out things to be stored and things to be brought with us. I've told my sister that she can have the pleasure of giving us Christmas dinner :D We will go out shortly to where our stuff is stored, bring some things to put away and get some clothes. More list making and maybe do some cards, although I have cut the list drastically this year. Have a good day everyone :)

Jen I am also married to an oversized boy who sometimes acts younger than his 5 year old grandson when they are together.

Blood done, and blood pressures. Both were a bit high (we'd just had a few words     ) but get the results next week.

Couldn't find any cards - except for three priced at 2.75 EACH

Popped into the post office, he gets his next week, at a euro each, so I'll be there when he opens.

Some friends offered to buy us some when they're in England :D :D but it's not the same, sending them back, is it?

Whizzed round the market, just in case there were somethere and he's got his grumpy head on, so I'm not bothering with him for the rest of the day now  :P :P
