We had such a lovely hectic couple of days with all the children we're going to have a quiet day. After brekkie we'll pop to the shops and get something nice for dinner tonight and celebrate our 41st anniversary with a bottle of bubbly snug and warm indoors.

Run done and house has been blitzed.

Just finishing off the last of my report cards...I need more days in the week at the moment.

Good afternoon all! It's quite dull here today with occasional drizzle but it's not too cold.

Having a quieter day today after a busy, but fun, weekend. Had a great time with Joe in Manchester on Saturday, we had a walk around their German Market (not as good as the one in Birmingham) and had lunch there before getting the tram to Old Trafford. In the ground strangers don't usually talk but next to us were a group of four fellas who were a lot of fun Looks like that's the last game we'll get to this season though, unless we get lucky in the ballots for the bigger games (doubtful), as suddenly all games have sold out right up until the end of the season.

I was resisting getting the Christmas decorations out so early but yesterday I noticed that most of the neighbours have decorated. I'll leave everything else until the weekend but this morning I've put a string of multicoloured LED lights around a holly that I have in a pot on the patio and put it by the front door. We look a little less Scroogey now
