Good Morning Saturday

I don't often get to do this Morning everyone, hope you are all well on this very snowy Saturday! No more snow fell here last night, but I think it has frozen so will be very slippery out there. I guess that means another day indoors - getting a bit fed up with it really, I'm used to a long walk nearly every day I can take Peps over the field later, and will I expect, but we normally go out for lunch and a mooch on a Saturday and I'll miss that.....

How are you all? Snowed in?

We've got some sunshine after yesterday and last nights very very high winds and torrential rain, but at least it was warm

Pottering insid for us today, too windy to venture out - would get blown down to the village

We're thinking about walking up to Sainsbury's later to see how far we can get on foot, just for the exercise and lunch in the cafe if we get that far We have sensible boots and will take it steady and turn back if it gets too bad ..... I'll get some more cartons of milk for the freezer if we get there Later we'll both take Peps over the field for a run

Morning all
We had just a few little flurries yesterday evening. There's still a fair bit of snow around, our road is quite frozen but the main roads are now fine. Bb took Minnie across to the fields but they're quite muddy unfortunately, it's not cold enough to keep them frozen.

Bb couldn't get anywhere to work yesterday so is going in a minute, it should be ok, he's not going on the little country roads that he should be though, just the better ones
Kaz with any luck it will thaw enough in a while for it to be ok underfoot. I might venture out later if Bb's back in time.
Meanwhile probably more soup to make

Yes it is starting to thaw, just a little! Spoke to my MIL a few moments ago to check if she needed anything, and she says it is thawing a little round her bungalow too

Take care on foot if you go out later Di, I'll have some of that soup please if it's veggie, carrot and coriander, or chicken!
