We'll come up with a solution I reckon, just not worked it out properly yet.

You might see what I mean when I post some pics, it is huge and heavy and I would hate to risk it breaking ;)

I reckon within a few days or so there will be some really good ideas on t'internet ;)
Start googling 'how to display tower poppies' from about tomorrow and there will soon be results :)

I'm looking forward to seeing mum's when we go to Scotland next summer - I don't think I realised what they were really like close up...the weight, I mean.

They were so lovely (and sad) when I seen them in September.

Phew! So glad it's finally with you Kaz! :D

They really are beautiful close up aren't they?! I'm still deciding how to display ours.

I showed it to Joe yesterday, I went into his room while he was playing X Box and surprisingly he stopped what he was doing - usually anything you say or do gets a quick glance and a mumble while he's playing - and came over and sat on his bed looking at the poppy, the certificate and the booklet and then said "that's really lovely..." I think he was quite touched by what he'd seen at the Tower, not that he'd admit to it being 14 ;)

I know it's not the way it's meant to be displayed, but what about forgoing the stick / stalk and putting a tea light in it? And whenever you light the candle it will be a reminder of why you bought it?
