Now the online tracker is saying my parcel is delayed, but still 'out with courier' Customer services close at 1pm on Saturdays, so that's it now until Monday :|

Hopefully it's a matter of the delivery vehicle breaking down and holding the deliveries up. Or maybe the courier was unwell.

Fingers crossed it's with you on Monday xx

Good :)

I think I heard they're ok outside but not once it's really cold, but I don't think I'd want to risk it outdoors anyway.
Just a plain, thin, tall heavy vase I guess?

I wouldn't put mine outside ;) I thought of the vase Di but it is actually quite heavy, as is the metal stem, and fairly unstable on the stem ( as warned in the packaging) so I was thinking perhaps of displaying it without the stem, in some way.....

What if you filled the base of the vase with those glass beads?
It would look nice with the stem :)

I've suggested to mum she put some stones in a heavy bottomed slim vase she has Kaz and arranging her poppy in it to stabilise it...iyswim. :D

Not feeling it in my own hands makes it difficult to imagine the weight.

Mum got hers yesterday..her neighbour got his on Thursday.

Yeah that's what I had in mind before it arrived, but it's the actual poppy itself that wobbles, on the fittings at the top of the stem! I'd be afraid it might wobble off and break. It does say in the blurb that it might wobble due to the individual design of each......

It is a fair bit heavier than I'd imagined and bigger than the palm of my hand :) I will take a pic tomorrow :)

What about a bit of Blu-tack on the stem, but round the back so the poppy head can sit on it and it cannot be seen?
