They went there last Sunday..she actually posted a photo of the sun shining and how nice it looked once they got there. :roll:

I've just rang him on his mobile..he mentioned where they were..can't remember now. :o

They're not down south but not in the middle. It hasn't snowed since 5 o'clock but what made it bad was the wind brought in drifts and piled the snow up.

He's full of cheeriness (as always :lol: ) and they have plenty of food.

If they have to stay there again tomorrow so be it.

The only thing that's bugged him is missing the visit to his dad.

But he'll go in 2 weeks to see him. :D

They have scrabble, wine and....lurve to keep them warm. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Luckily the cottage is booked on a week to week basis..they were leaving 2 days early to go to Birmingham so that wasn't a problem. :D :D
