I saw a few like that last week but I don't want a green one this time, my last longer one bought about 5 years ago was green/khaki.

I am going to take the first one back. I shouldn't really have got it in the first place as I was so uncertain, but having looked in several shops and found nothing I liked, I thought that was the best of a bad bunch :|

I've done that before now Gal. I've gone out specifically to buy, for instance, a coat and have ended up buying one just so that I'd got one. In fact, thinking about it, I did that with a jacket last year. I panic bought one that wasn't exactly what I was looking for and ended up taking it back when I saw something a week later that was what I'd been looking for in the first place.

If you are unsure take it back, you will never be truly happy with is.

I actually prefer it as I don't like the dead cats round the collar on the other ones. I have a real problem with parka style coats for that reason

I bought a parka style one in Debenhams last in that nice damsony colour and I quite like the dead cats around the collar  . I love the jacket, it's really cosy.

I have one that buttons to my big camel coat if wanted, same colour as the coat, and a black cardigan with a black collar too - and that could easily be fastened to other things :)

 Shell :D
