Daft question - but do you all have to move in 2 weeks or could you and Mr Osc stay on for that extra week to save you having to pack up and move twice?

Not daft at all, but we will have to move the same time as them. Also if the building is delayed we will have to move again, our gypsy caravan is parked outside the door I have to laugh or else the major upheaval ahead would wreck my head!

Mine came last Christmas and will be here again this year. She is 89 now so can't make her own way to us. She is ok though……………….. for a MIL.

That's true...shame she doesn't need a visa to cross the Welsh border though. She managed to screw up royally the last time she needed a visa and wasn't allowed out of the country

She's reluctant to drive far in Winter in case she gets stranded - and that reluctance is to be encouraged I say - but she's now bugging us about going down to see her. John had initially suggested going tonight, just him and Joe, and coming back tomorrow afternoon but she's going shopping with SIL so that's a no go. She then suggested next weekend but we've got a concert on Friday night and I'm taking Joe to the match on Saturday, the following weekend John's out on the Friday night and we're at a uni open day on the Saturday. Thing is, we do need to get down there with Christmas presents before the big day (but not too soon as I haven't got a clue what to get her!).
