Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 21 Nov 2014, 08:13

Good morning all, it's a dull one here with rain forecast for lunchtime onwards. Billy's going for a run on the Chase in a few moments with a cafe stop thrown in. Probably going to Ikea tonight.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, morning all :)

It's very dark and dismal here, going to be a dark and wet day I think - I'm glad we went to the Market yesterday and not today! :? I might manage a walk later, will just have to wrap up a bit ;) I think it will be just me and himself this weekend - B is working both days, and I asked H earlier in the week if he wanted to come but he hasn't got back to me, so I'm assuming not :? I did actually ring twice already this morning but no reply which is unusual at this time of day, so I hope everything is ok there! Becks tried to ring her dad last night as well, but no reply then either............ :?

Di I hope the weather is better for you, and that you get your fun day out as planned :) xxx

Love to all, have a nice Friday, if you can ((x))

Morning :)
Kaz I'm sure they're fine but hope you manage to get in touch soon xx

Well I'm not going :( It's horrible here too, freezing cold and rain threatening, with no improvement forecast.
It'd be fine once I got there, but getting the ferry means a fair bit of hanging around out in the open (at the end of a long pier), then waiting for the free bus or walking up into the town centre, and the same to get back...there's not much under-cover space on the ferry either.
All in all my energy would be all spent doing the getting there and back, rather than having a nice time at the shops.
It's a shame as on a reasonable day it makes for a nice day out, but I have done it in bad weather and it's no fun.
Hythe's nice, I could just go there with Bb, but there's not really enough to occupy me for 3 or 4 hours :?

I could always take myself on Sunday morning, when I can drive straight into the multi-storey car park and walk under cover to the shopping centre ;)
So I shall do some h-word and some clearing/tidying, and maybe make a cake to cheer myself up :)
Hope you all have a good day
Di

Morning all - I am so very glad it's Friday; I was ready for the weekend on Monday already - although it is going to be a rather very busy one, but hey

Kaz, I do hope they get in touch or you reach them soon. It is always a worry isn't it.

The weather is rather miserable; the wind is just a tad nippy but thankfully the rain is meant to hold off here until later today. Usual work day for me today but finishing at 4.30 to head over to Karl and Nadine's and keep their son company. Both parents have various medical appointments this evening and whilst T is OK being on his own for an hour or two we all prefer for someone to be home sooner rather than later; so I get to do the honours which will be nice - I don't often get 1:1 time with T and he's such a character.

Have a lovely day everyone; stay warm and dry xxxxx

Enjoy your time with T Ria, and your weekend :)

Well I am a little worried - it was unusual enough for there to be nobody at home at 9ish last night when B rang her dad, but for there to be nobody there just after 8am, 8.30 and then again at 9 on a school morning rather odd :? No reply to my Facebook pings of yesterday either. I'm sure it will be nothing, but still.......

Morning all.
Try not to worry too much Kaz. Difficult not to I know. Let us know when you hear back x
Sorry about your day out Di. You certainly don't want to be out when the weather is horrid. Hopefully Sunday will be better.
Hope everyone else has a good day.
Just a bits and bobs day for me, with a dog walk thrown in. I did all my weekend shopping yeserday, so don't need to go near a supermarket until Tuesday! Result!

Morning everyone

A little sun is trying very hard to break through, high clouds and quite warm.

A gentle stroll down to the village later - nothing too strenuous    and probably a pit-stop on the way back - for a coffee

Glad you've grard from them Kaz, at least you know now that everything is okay, even if H isn't coming down this week-end.

Another quiet day here, I really should get some stuff sorted, but can't be bovvered

Enjoy your day, whatever the weather xx
