It's not only stilettoes, those platform heels couldn't half hurt!!!

When we were much younger my sister and I were having something with chips for tea. When I thought that she wasn't looking I knicked a chip. The next time she was ready. I swear that she feigned disinterest as my fork neared her chips, but she had whipped off her platform shoe and was ready to pounce. The resulting blow chipped the bone in my elbow as I tried to defend myself.

I have never, ever, tried to pinch a chip ever since.

I do like to see girls in "heels" they look so graceful when they have mastered the art of not wobbling far more than they ever could in flat shoes. However having been involved with maintenance quite a lot, they do terrible things to cork tile floors or even thermo plastic when it is hot.

I wore 4 inch heels every single day of my adulthood but at age 50 I had developed a neuroma as a direct result of such constant wearing of heels.....shopping, working, going out, everything I did was in my heels. I swore the day I chose comfort over style was when they nailed my coffin lid down!

But the neuroma put paid to all that  I seriously got very low and depressed to think I'd never walk elegantly again. Nowadays I am in flat boots or chunky heels of no more than an inch....not flattering on a shortie like me :(
