Thanks all, it was the jab, bit of a wait today but still all done in less than an hour :)
Good news on the blood test too, calcium levels still normal.
Celebrating with a decent coffee and very naughty hot sausage roll :D

Jen that is so ridiculous isn't it, why on earth accept your offer?!

Good afternoon all, it's wet and dreary here. I went to the gym and managed to get back to take Billy for a quick walk before we had a heavy downpour.

Tom's gone into school with two permission slips today, one for a visit to the new (uglier than the 1960s concrete one IMO) library in Birmingham for English and the other to see The Scottsboro Boys musical in the West End for history. The cynic in me thinks that the English teachers want to do some Christmas shopping (they went to the German Market in town in Year 8 with the language department and the teachers went shopping, I had texts throughout the day from Tom in the Bullring, Primark and two different Starbucks) and I was talking to the history teacher a few weeks ago and she mentioned this musical and was just a little over enthusiastic about how good it apparently is and how amazing it would be to see it so I reckon she's wrangled the trip to see it for herself on a freebie ;)

Good news about the blood test Di!

Jen, how annoying!

Ria, I think it was said that the poppies would be dismantled quicker than they were put in but no, they won't disappear overnight will they! I'm hoping to get by there again with John at the weekend when we're in London, I think he should see it.

Saundra, we bought MIL a Now TV box for her birthday - she loves it!! She subscribes to the entertainment package which is around £6 a month and gets some Sky channels but she can get iPlayer and other catch up services on there too. She's always raving about it!
