Morning Ally :D
Guess what? We have rain too!
It's pretty bleak here, so don't want to venture too far today. Have to get the car to the garage for it's MOT, then back to make soup and do some paperwork and other bits and bobs. May go dancing tonight, or wait until tomorrow...depends on the rain and my mood.
Have a good day everyone and keep dry and snug x

 'Lovely' rain here too! :P

Morning all :D It depends on the weather really, but I would quite like to spend my ill-gotten gains today (the tiny lottery win I mentioned on the random thread ;) ) but if the rain gets worse, or the wind gets right up as forecast, it might have to wait. There's plenty that needs doing here anyway

Have a good day today xxxxxxxxxx

Morning :)
We have rain too - why can't ours organise itself to just fall overnight, it doesn't know when to stop! Set to keep going all day here.

Lovely sleep last night, could have done with more but off to the hospital this morning.

Just been watching Carol on Breakfast - she's in with the poppies at the Tower,it's dry and sunny and she said it's going to stay that way.
The last poppy is going to be handed to a young cadet by the ceramicist at 10.50, it will be planted, then they'll play the Last Post before the two minute silence.
It's already busy, people have been arriving since 4am.

Hope you all have a good day.

Morning all - a beautiful sunny morning here; we did have rain overnight though. Usual work day for me.

Ally, not often that you post you've had rain ;) . It really does freshen up everything doesn't it
Loz, good luck with the car MOT
Kaz, hope the weather holds so you can get out - enjoy the shopping
Di, good luck with the hospital appointment

I still need to get to those poppies - shocking really given they're only 10 mins from work. I think I'll wait a bit for it all to get less busy; it's not as though everything is going to be dismantled in one day I'd have thought?

Have a lovely day everyone x

Morning all :D

Lovely bright skies and sunshine here 8-)

Good luck at the hospital Di x

Well it looks like the apartment is dead in the water. Spoke to the agent yesterday afternoon and he said he can't see it happening now. Our vendors won't be going for the bungalow they've been hankering after, sounds as though they have eyes bigger than their budget. It's all really annoying, why on earth they accepted our offer when they can't afford to buy in the price range they're looking at is beyond me  We've said the money is still on the table but we won't be waiting around, if something suitable comes up we'll be going for it. The interesting thing is, if they're serious about moving and stay within their budget, we could well be in competition for the same place. Now let me see, who would a vendor prefer, a buyer who hasn't sold or a buyer with cash.........methinks it's a no brainer. Of course we're really disappointed, E especially, but hey ho if it's meant to be and all that, back to square one...........who'd have thought it would be so difficult to spend money :?

Not sure what we're doing yet, about to have brekkie and Tesco are delivering around 3ish so we won't be going far. If the sun stays out we might pop down for a walk by the harbour.

Hope you all have a good day :D
