Good morning Friday

Good afternoon all, it's absolutely pouring down here and has been since around 10.30. I went to the gym and then came home and baked cheesey biscuits. Billy's decided to spend the day in the kitchen so that he can gaze longingly up at the tin they're in.

I think that, for the first time in almost 6 months, it's four of us for dinner tonight. Since May it's either been John, Joe and myself or the three of us plus Tom and M but M has her first shift at McDonalds tonight, from 5pm to 10, so Tom's home. We're having pizza and I'm going to make potato wedges - one tray of garlic and one tray of cajun - and serve the cheesy biscuits too. There's homemade brownies for pudding

Jen, I'm not a Queen fan but Adam Lambert is excellent! I met him in Birmingham not long after he'd been on American Idol, really lovely fella but he was wearing more make up than I'd wear in an entire week

Oh I'm so envious Jo, he's one of my favourite singers, what a voice. He's also my all time favourite American Idol contestant and definitely should have won. As for the makeup, if only I could look so good

He really should've won. We were in New York when the final was screened and I just remember sitting staring at the TV in the hotel when the Kris Allen was announced as the winner, I was totally gutted An amazing voice and one of life's natural entertainers.
