Morning all, up later today as I have a bit of an upset tum so feeling rather washed out and tired. I have to ring our kitchen installer as when he went to measure up yesterday, one of the walls is 8" shorter than on the plan we showed him :? so we have to talk about a bit of readjustment. Some of the windows went in yesterday which is exciting! Having my cut and colour this afternoon. We were going to go dancing tonight but as the packing may not get done this morning, we'll probably give it a miss so I can go to bed early. Hope you get some news today Debih, these things always take so long to set up. Have a good day everyone :)

Sorry you're not well Osc - hope you're feeling better soon. And good luck with the meeting re the kitchen - that's quite a bit to be out by; hopefully it'll be easy enough to rejig things around (ie downsize a 60cm wide unit to a 40cm?)

Are you taking lots of photo's whilst the building work is progressing - it would be interesting to look back at it all once it's done.

That's exactly what is happening  There has not been a lot to photograph so far, as it seems to have been progressing so very slowly but things do seem to be moving along now - a huge steel beam went in last week (we have no idea how they did it :o ), so hopefully now they are getting on with stud walls and first plumbing and electric fixes.....do you like my grasp of the lingo ;)  With any luck by the time we get back from our holiday there will be plenty to see and photograph :D

Oh, once whatever beams are in place and the stud walls go up it'll all go super quick - how exciting!
