Well the sun is shining here, and it's chilly - seems much more 'normal' weather for the time of year We were awake very early, Mick had to catch an early train to Leicester for a meeting. He's the boss now (might post on a private board later) so there will be a fair bit more travelling round I expect Not much sleep for me, as I've ben worrying about something (again, will post privately later) but I reckon a walk later in the fresh air will sort me out

Hope Di and Bb have another lovely sunny day

Morning all

It is a beautiful morning isn't it? Although there was a touch of ice on the windscreen this morning and it's the time of year where I'll start complaining about the condensation and ice INSIDE the car

Saundra - I've got the same problem with my lawn; it really needs another cut before winter comes but it's just too wet.
(((hug))) Kaz for whatever the worries are. Hopefully the walk will clear the brain a bit

I have a plumber at home today; he's moving a pipe that the previous owner for some reason put into the bedroom to the bathroom so I can hopefully move my bedroom furniture around. At the moment my bed is right under the window; which is lovely on a nice warm summer day but now with the colder nights I struggle a bit with drafts. Three of the cats are locked into the lounge - not very impressed but ho hum. The others can come and go so they're OK

Oh just after I'd posted the beautiful sunshine disappeared and it is pouring down!!! Not sure about that walk now, think it might be a cleaning day instead, will have to see

Morning all, it's sunnyish here but definitely the temperature is more what we would expect at this time of year. I have plenty to do today, we dug out some summer clothes and a suitcase yesterday so need to sort out what we really need. Then a pile of ironing to deal with and I need to do it as I don't want to leave it not done when we go away on Thursday (did I mention that we are going to Malta on Thursday ) I will also wander down to the shops to get something for dinner, it's a good way of having a walk. Second episode of The Missing tonight, very good but very sad. Have a good day everyone

We had the promised wet stuff and the high wind and now it's a lovely, sunny morning

We shut all the windows last night and it was sooooooo quiet no darking bogs, no car noise, couldn't hear the tv aerial bashing against the roof, lovely

Ironing for me this morning, then a walk down to the village to get something I ordered.

Kaz, have a lovely walk, your mind can drift away and then things will become clear for you - I hope xx

Saundra, I leave my cobwebs the mozzies then fly into them, hopefully

Ria, hope the plumber sorts out the pipe and you be snuggly at night, away from the window.

Morning all. Really chilly here.

I was at the dentist first thing but arrived to find that the dentist was ill and I've had to rearrange.

Work at the moment (though I'm not exactly doing much as I'm on here!) then hospital this afternoon.

This evening we have one of the neighbours coming round to see if she wants to buy any of L's Sylvanian Family stuff for her little girls for xmas. I hope she does as it will be less for me to sell on ebay!

Morning everyone..just!

We had rain through the night and this morning - it's still cloudy but the sun is trying to break through.
Normal service is due to be resumed tomorrow.

I've been to the airport to pick up our friends from Birmingham who flew in at 9am and took them to their hotel in Nerja.

Back to another load of washing, made a tuna salad for dinner tonight and am now going out for a run.

Beautiful sunshine here, not sure if it's meant to last all day, but it's lovely to wake up to after all the rain we had yesterday.

Waiting in for a delivery, but when that arrives we're off out to do some shopping.
