Morning all, it's dull here and looks damp. I'm going out this morning to visit the daughter of my school friend who lives in Boston. The daughter lives and works in London but has recently bought here, she would have loved our house but it was too big and expensive for a holiday home. She emailed the other day and invited me to call around, so that will be nice. A bit of shopping then back to tackle the ironing that I have been studiously ignoring for days  Mr Osc is going to play golf. Have a good day everyone :)

Good morning everyone. It's looking very bleak here. The sea is choppy and there is rain forecast for the afternoon so I'm going to treat myself to a whole day slobbing out in the house. If I get really bored I'll do a bit of housework, but I have to be very bored for that. I have some ironing scowling at me from the basket Osc so I might do that.

You've had a lovely 6 weeks with your family Ally and it's going to be very quiet for you now. I hope your Dad gets good news when he gets home.

That's a helluva queue at the hospital. I hope it moves quickly Di.

I got there at 8 and left at 9.15
They've been having 4 of them taking bloods but two are off sick today - I didn't dare leave it till the day before my jab though, and at least it's done :)

Whizzed into town to get my hair colour (thought I had half a pack in the cupboard!) so I can get that done and Bb can go into town in a while to get euros etc.
He's working later and most of tomorrow so it's a bit tight trying to get things done.
I'm having a much-deserved coffee - they should definitely open the café at the hospital earlier ;)

Osc that'll be nice, catching up with your friend's daughter :)
We have blue sky and sunshine :D

Morning all - a beautiful beautiful day here; pity it's apparently all coming to an end as of tomorrow ;)
Usual work day for me today and then off to a Halloween party tonight.

Have a lovely day everyone xxx

Good afternoon everybody.
I went to have a blood sample taken yesterday. The clinic opens at 7.30 a.m. I got there before 7.00 a.m and was first in the queue. When the clinic opened there were about 25 people waiting. There is a ticket system so you know how many are in front of you.
Will get the results when I see the nurse at the end of November.
Have started packing for our cruise. We sail from Southampton on Sunday.
It is warm even though there are clouds.

Good afternoon all.

We've been shopping in town this morning, and bought a big suitcase for our Christmas holiday. We walked down but had a taxi back
as the bus services here have been re-routed due to roadworks and we had too much shopping to walk.

Have a happy Halloween night.

It's very warm...I wouldn't usually complain but it's grey and dismal as well which makes you think "October" so you dress accordingly....and then melt in the shops  :( I slept badly, again, with the result I had a migraine aura in town. I was in a shoe shop at the time, exchanging a pair of shoes and the sales girl was very helpful. I had tablets in my bag but no water, I was brave and asked if she'd mind getting me some (if you know me you'll know this is not me at all) but she did and I took them and went to sit in the market place for a bit until the aura had subsided. I ended up removing my longline cardi as I was so hot.

Di that's a long wait! I had my hair chopped yesterday but the silver roots are starting to show, so I'll do that tomorrow, I always buy 2 boxes of colour at a time and I have a full one left.

Got some goodies for Halloween tonight, I offer the littlies sweeties if they've made an effort ;) Quiet evening in prospect for me and T, Jen is about to leave for work and afterwards she is pubbing round the town 8-) I shall enjoy a hot bath and hopefully an early night :)

(((((((((Kaz)))))) ((((((((Ally))))))) Just because.
